  1. Job Title: Assistant Events & Promotions Manager (1 position)

Job summary:

The purpose of this job is to assist the Events and Promotions manager with planning and implementation of company events and promotions

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Events and Promotions Manager to grow products through events
  2. Formulate activity plans for events & promotions requirements
  3. Participate and coordinate company promotional activities to increase revenues.
  4. Support in strategic planning for business growth by planning for product growth and promotions strategies.
  5. Coordinate the launch and promotion of new products to enhance brand awareness
  6. Generate and submit reports for all events and promotions related activities

 

Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  1. Job Title: Materials Planning Supervisor (1 position)

Reports to:  Purchasing Manager

 

Job summary:

The Material Planning Supervisor will be responsible for managing the coordination and acquisition of raw materials for Production of all Movit Products

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the planning, organization and budgeting of all company raw materials.
  2. Develop key analytics for all materials required for production purposes and work with Purchasing Manager to ensure delivery of the materials.
  3. Develop and align business processes for planning and general management of raw materials.
  4. Support the Supply Chain and Stores teams in the alignment and follow up on execution of material planning, procurement and storage procedures.
  5. Liaise with the production, procurement and stores team to ensure consistency and quality of raw materials planned.
  6. Anticipate potential problems and risks and generate ideas for acquisition and effective management of materials.
  7. Analyze market conditions and delivery systems to assess present and future availability of raw materials.
  8. Monitor material levels and ensure availability of raw materials during emergencies.
  9. Generate reports on materials status positions and consumption patterns for the entire raw materials/product range.
  10. Manage all SAP related issues related to materials planning and management.
  11. Perform any other related tasks that may be assigned.

 

Required qualifications, experience and skills

 

  1. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management or any Business related course from a recognized university.
  2. Professional certification in Procurement and Supplies (CIPS) is an added advantage.

  1. Job Title: Category Supervisor-Spare Parts & Local CAPEX (1 position)

Reports to:  Purchasing Manager

 

Job Summary

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the focus of this role is to design and execute sourcing strategies for technical categories, including machinery purchase, fleet/machinery spare parts and engineering / maintenance services.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute various strategies, ensuring competitive advantage and sustainable year-on-year improvements in terms of cost, quality, service and innovation
  2. Make forecasts for Spare parts demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory
  3. Lead and execute sourcing projects including strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations, risk management and contract execution
  4. Perform total cost of ownership evaluations and supply-market research, and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis in the pursuit of continuous cost improvements
  5. Identify and resolve strategic supplier performance issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  6. Work with Maintenance and Transport to establish and influence needs and translate to sourcing goals/ tactics, ensuring alignment with and implementation of the category strategies and the overall sourcing strategy.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develop, champion, and ensure implementation of ideas that will optimize total cost of ownership year-over-year for assigned spend categories.
  2. Track forecasted versus actual savings for the IT Category, Construction & Electricals and be responsible for communicating performance against these measures and their potential budgetary impact.
  3. Develop and implement commodity strategies and establish and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure successful implementation and support.

  16. Job Title: Stores Supervisor (01 Position)

Reporting To: Stores Manager

Job Summary

The Stores Supervisor will carry out supervisory duties for stores operations and activities on stock management (spares)

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. In charge of store keeping for repairs and maintenance spares for all company stores.
  2. Offering technical advice and resolution on mechanics related executions.
  3. Routinely manage stock levels and observe operations to ensure conformance to sound mechanical conditions and safety standards.
  4. Actively participate in the Preparing specifications, requisitions and follow-up procurements of vehicle parts and machinery.
  5. Supervise parts receipt and issue following the standard operating procedures for MPL stores.
  6. Advise the Line manager on stock movement for critical and routine spares.
  7. Supervise stock card update and ensure accurate reconciliations with the system at all times.
  8. Work closely with procurement and user department to ensure high quality spares are sourced and delivered.
  9. Ensure appropriate stores lay out and proper product classification in the store.
  10. Conducting weekly stocks counts and generate stock reports.
  11. Reporting all Stores maintenance issues to supervisor

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  1. The applicant should preferably hold an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering obtained from a recognized university / Institution.

Job summary:

The purpose of this job is to process, prepare, double check and reconcile the company’s revenues and payables as per internal and international financial standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate assistant accountants through task follow ups and target evaluation to ensure they achieve their set targets.
  2. Post transactions in the ERP system to enhance reliability and accuracy of the accounting information
  3. Manager all supplier and debtor payments to enable payment and reporting of accurate amounts
  4. Code all petty cash transactions for proper classification and allocation of costs and accuracy of the amount
  5. Integrate local and import VAT and submission to statutory and planning department to enhance compliance to statutory requirements
  6. Perform bank reconciliation to attain accuracy and reliability of accounting records and improve internal controls
  7. Liaise with staff from other departments to establish a working relationship in order to cooperate on a matter of mutual concern
  8. Aggregate actual weekly sales from van sales reports for purposes of sales commission computation.
  9. Verify cash office reports on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and adequacy
  10. Bill key customers and scrap sales by issuing and posting invoices to facilitate payment and reporting

Job summary:

The purpose of this job is to ensure timely and accurate quality control testing of samples.  

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Collect products for microbial testing
  2. Compute data and generate sample analytical test reports
  3. Ensure records are kept accurately in accordance with company guidelines
  4. Monitor and assess samples during and after analysis especially stability samples
  5. Examine physiological, morphological and cultural characteristics using microscope to identify and classify microorganisms in samples
  6. Prepare technical reports and recommendations based on findings
  7. Develop new standard operating procedures for the analysis and testing of products
  8. Wash and sterilize all glassware and equipments in the microbial lab
  9. Operate scientific equipments such as autoclave, colony counter and microscope
  10. Calibrate and maintain performance of the equipment

Job summary:

The Learning and Development Officer will support the L&D Manager in conducting training needs assessment, planning for trainings, coordinating trainings, evaluating trainings and writing reports.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out training needs assessment through task analysis and performance analysis
  2. Plan for trainings through budgeting for materials and refreshments, identifying trainers and preparing cash requisitions for payments.
  3. Coordinate trainings and issuing training evaluation questionnaires to trainees
  4. Carry out HR Metrics to determine leaning gaps
  5. File and document records on all training related information
  6. Coordinate internship programme by receiving applications and shortlisting as per the selection checklist
  7. Update and maintain the learning and development hub by uploading all the training reading materials and pictorials on the HR Portal

Job summary:

The Purchasing Officer will ensure timely preparation of orders and timely purchases so as to facilitate other business processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare orders in the system to ensure timely order placement and the right quantities
  2. Follow up on supplier payments to ensure that suppliers are paid on time and all the required documents are availed for payment.
  3. Analyze supplier delivery patterns to ensure compliance to quality, quantity and timely deliveries
  4. Manage business relationships with suppliers to ensure productive engagements between MOVIT and suppliers
  5. Source for quotations and suppliers for the different MOVIT needs in terms of goods and services so as to settle on the best vendor with the right qualities and reasonable prices
  6. Order follow up to ensure timely release for the system in order to facilitate other activities
  7. Raise purchase requisitions for all the departmental requirements towards an efficient running of activities

Job summary:

The Charge Hand will be responsible for proper packaging of products at different production lines.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise packaging of products
  2. Collect the jars for packaging of products from the production clerks
  3. Confirm that products are packaged in the appropriate jars
  4. Ensure that production assistants have protective wear for safety and contamination
  5. Inspect machines and contact technicians immediately for any breakdown
  6. Check codes and ensure that all codes on the jars are correct
  7. Ensure that all packaged products are well labeled and coded
  8. Generate a report on all work done and follow up on set goals.
