Henry Tumusiime

Henry Tumusiime is a Chartered Member of CIPD-UK and a full member of the Human Resource Managers’ Association of Uganda (HRMAU). He is currently a Director for Human Capital and Shared Services at Movit Products Limited. Previously, he was the Manager for People and Change at PricewaterhouseCoopers Uganda. He is an Organizational Development and Human Resource Specialist with over 10 years of HR and Change Management practice both in Uganda and in the East African region.

Henry Tumusiime Ag. Director Human Capital & Shared Services

He holds a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development and Social Psychology from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)-United Kingdom. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree of Social Work and Social Administration (SWSA) with a First Class Honours from Makerere University Kampala. He has had a good experience in both public and private sectors. His work experience has largely focused in areas of Change Management, Executive Recruitment, designing and implementation of Human Resource Transformation strategies, Balanced Scorecard, Organizational Designs and Restructuring,  Job Analysis, Evaluation and Grading (trained in ReMeasure), Organizational Surveys (e.g. Climate, Cultural, Client Satisfaction, and Salary), and general Human Resource practice.

 

His professional experience, zeal and practice as a Change Management and Organizational Development Specialist earned him the Unilever 2010 – East and Southern Africa (ESA) Human Resource Award. Throughout his career, he has led a number of successful projects in Human Resource profession for several entities some of them include; Uganda Revenue Authority (Organisational Cultural Diagnosis and Change Management for Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution), Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA-Change Management for implementation of e-GP), Centenary Bank (Core Banking Change Management), Housing Finance Bank (Core Banking Change Management), Umeme Limited (design of ESOPs-Employee Share Option Plans), Review of Organisational structures for CNOOC among other. Henry has also led structural reviews and executive recruitment for National Social Security Fund (NNSF), ASARECA, United Bank for Africa (Uganda Limited), American Tower Corporation (ATC) Marketing Uganda Limited, Orient Bank Limited and Umeme Uganda Limited. Henry has also led HR Departments in different organisations and implemented end-to-end HR processes and procedures.
