Movit Products Limited recently launched the bodaboda campaign under a theme “KUUMA LIFE YO, YAMBALA HELEMITI”. In this campaign Movit staff members are going to be visiting different bodaboda stages in Kampala and the areas around.
According to Robert Kitenda the PR, Media and Advertising manager “As Movit products Limited we found out that bodaboda riders often got involved in accidents in which many of them would lose their lives partly because they were not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, since most of our brothers in this field of work could not afford a Helmet. As such the company decided to make its contribution to our community by giving free Helmets to our brothers in this field in order to reduce on the number of deadly accidents”.
This campaign is still running and we have started with Kajansi, Bunamwaya and Nabbingo stages today so bodaboda riders we are coming to your stage. A total of 40 helmets has so far been handed out to 40 bodaboda riders at the above mentioned stages and more helmets are yet to given out at the Lubowa , Wankuluku , Zana and Nakulabye stages.
The Yambala Helemitt campaign now in its second phase, joins a host of other CSR campaigns that Movit has carried so far that include The Movit Angels Campaign, The Sponsorship of the Irene Glenson Charity Walk, Nkozi Hospital marathon and the like. Movit products Limited has continued to make it a habit to give back to the community through such campaigns reinforcing our silent strong value that is to care for our customers wellbeing as well as their beauty.
